Each supporting member, including its officers and directors, agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of GRNA supporting membership (“Terms and Conditions”), as set forth below. GRNA may change the Terms and Conditions at any time with or without notice and each member’s continued participation in the GRNA shall be considered acceptance of such changes. Failure to comply with GRNA Terms and Conditions may result in the suspension or termination of individual’s GRNA membership, such suspension or termination to be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the GRNA.

Term

Membership is measured by our fiscal year, April 1st – March 31st for both Professional and Student Members. The standard membership term is 12 months for those joining or renewing by the start of our fiscal year. Otherwise, membership ends on March 31st each year. 

Qualifications

Any person who is actively engaged in or interested in the nephrology nutrition field may be admitted to supporting membership in this Association.

Admission to Membership

Admission to membership in the GRNA is conducted online via the GRNA website. Membership becomes official upon confirmation of payment for the term of membership. Membership dues are not refundable and are non-transferable.  No application for membership shall be denied on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.

Fees 

Supporting member fees are a simple, flat rate. The flat rate includes all professional CEU program access, professional networking opportunities, leadership opportunities, award opportunities, an annual professional stipend offering and a chance to guide our profession. Current fees are reflected on garenalnutrition.org. Student membership in the GRNA is a reduced rate.

Any revision to the fees schedule shall be approved by vote of not less than two-thirds of the members of the GRNA Board of Directors present at a duly convened meeting and

shall be communicated to supporting members before becoming effective.

Confidential Information

Certain GRNA Content may be marked “Confidential” or “Proprietary.” In that event, Member agrees to maintain the confidentiality of such content and not disclose or make it available to any third parties.

Online Payment Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using GRNA’s online payment service, supporting members agree to be bound by all applicable terms and conditions. GRNA may modify the terms and conditions at any time, with or without notice.

The GRNA online payment service is provided to our members to facilitate payment of fees, sponsorships and other products and services. Members will receive an email confirmation for your records once payment has been received. The GRNA utilizes a third party service to process payments. Credit card information is not kept on the GRNA website. It stays with a third party that keeps all private and credit card data. We take no responsibility for the third party’s privacy notice.
